This course provides a structured framework for conducting an independent academic study in Industrial Engineering. Students learn how to formulate a researchable problem, perform systematic literature reviews, and select appropriate analytical or modeling methods. Emphasis is placed on project planning, iterative progress reporting, and documenting results in a scientific paper format. By the end of the course, students will complete an individual research project demonstrating methodological rigor and professional reporting standards.
