In the Fall 2026 semester, the course focuses on Yediarık and its surroundings within the urban fabric of Antalya through the relationships between fragmented urban and ecological systems. The study area provides a context for investigating the relationships between the linear structure of Yediarık and open and green spaces of different characteristics, dense urban fabric, mobility infrastructure, public spaces, and everyday urban life.

Throughout the studio, students will investigate the area at different scales to identify its existing ecological, physical, and social values, continuities, disconnections, and thresholds, and question how Yediarık can establish connections between urban and ecological systems. Findings derived from field research, mapping, spatial analysis and synthesis, sectional studies, and scenario development will inform the design process.
