This course provides the students with the basic knowledge on the intersection between engineering and aesthetics to enhance the functionality of engineering project and their user satisfaction. It explains the general principles of visual design and their applications in engineering structures and construction. This is in addition to the principles of assessment of user experience and social perception to achieve the satisfactory aesthetics levels of engineering projects. it includes the practical applications and their manifestations in national and international case studies.
